1. Is the booking private?

Yes! Your booking is a private exclusive experience. You Spellcraft with only your group. All rooms are self-guided, except the Wax Workshop where a Curator is on hand to answer questions and guide you through the candle making process, and where you can order from the "Workshop Menu" additional activities; like a resin pendant, your own custom perfume...or even a card reading.

2. What are the recommended ages?

The rooms have been curated and designed for adults, & tweens/teens in mind. Children ages 9 and up are welcome. It is a requirement that participants between the ages of 9-16 be accompanied by a paying adult. Spellcraft Curator is immersive with antiques to interact with and tools to spellcraft with, so please supervise younger spellcrafters. 1 paying adult per 4 youths.

3. How many people can participate?

Up to 14 participants.

4. What do we need to know about arriving for our reservation?

All participants need to arrive ON TIME. If you arrive late, it takes time away from your appoinment. When you first arrive you will be asked to put away valuables, purses, and phones, but keep reading glasses, if needed. There are instructions, clues and magical recipes to read. We provide lockers for your personal items. You will need your hands free to Spellcraft and explore safely, plus the experience is more magical when modern technology is removed. You'll be given a short introduction.

5. Your website says "challenges and ciphers lead to delightful surprises" what is meant by this?

Many of our challenges can lead you to collecting or choosing a gift from our Spellcraft shelves, and Spellcraft Curator makes almost all of our 'gifts' and 'prizes' in house in our workshop. These might be things like fun candles, resin boxes, spell kits, wax melts, Runes, pendulum kits, charm casting kits, candle holders in fun shapes, and so much more!

6. Is the Spellcraft Experience always the same?

No. Every person in your group customizes & personalizes their experience because there are multiple crafting choices around 6 themes; love, abundance, health, protection, dreams/intuition, and a seasonal option. We celebrate and decoreate for 5 'seasons' and many ciphers and challenges are changed out each season. Our seasons are: Spooky Season (Sept-Oct) Winter Holidays (Nov-Jan 5) Season of Love (Jan 14-Feb) Spring Fling (March-May) & Summer Fun (June-Aug) Celebrate each season with Spellcraft Curator!

7. Will we finish all the activities in each room?

There's so many options, choices & discovery paths available, you will not complete it all in one visit. The goal of Spellcraft Curator is about stepping 'into' the magical world we've created, & taking your time to be present. You'll have just under an hour and a half to spellcraft, explore, hunt, and discover. The experience is primarily self-guided and how or where you spend your time will depend on your choices, so spend more time with the things that intrigue you most. Although we have choices that include puzzle solving and decoding ancient ciphers, we are NOT an escape room and it is not a 'race'. Engage your '4 Cs": Creativity, Curiosity, Critical Thinking, & Connection!

8. Can we wear costumes?

YES PLEASE! Costumes are not mandatory, but certainly encouraged. Put on your dwarf ears, your fairy flower head wreaths, your witch hats, your wizard cloaks, your 1920s flapper dresses, and anything else that makes the magic more fun! These spaces have been specially curated to transport you into a number of magical realms and historical eras, and we like cosplay! But please note; you will be asked to park your brooms, swords and any other stick like pieces by the door.

9. Can we take pictures?

There is something magical about being removed from modern technology and walking into each room not fully knowing what to expect, let's not ruin that magic for anyone else with pictures. We appreciate your cooperation with this. There is an opportunity at the end of your booking for group pictures.

10. Are outside food and drinks allowed?

Spellcraft Curator typically does not allow guests to bring in outside food and beverages. We have antiques in the rooms to interact with and this helps preserve these as well as maintain a clean and professional environment. We also want to ensure that all members of your party can spellcraft safely with free hands. There may be exceptions for special events. If you are planning a larger group event, call us to discuss the possibility of bringing in outside food or drinks beforehand. Also, you may want to look at some of the amazing food and beverage businesses that are nearby and in walking distance to take your group to either before or after visiting us!

11. Do we get to keep the things we make, find or win?

Yes, it's all included. You will take home your candle, your wand, your herbal concoction, lucky talisman, hidden items, and gifts earned from challenges, but there are also activities where the items need to stay in the rooms, and we appreciate your cooperation with this.

12. What if we discover we want MORE?

We hope you do want more! We have workshops that offer an opportunity to tap into your creative source. Plus, you can order a private workshop just for your group. To see what's coming up or learn about booking your own private workshop, click on the 'workshops' tab.

13. How do I book and pay for a private booking?

Click the "Book" tab on the top of the website to reserve your private appointment day and time and then follow the directions. After you book, follow the online payment directions. We accept all major credit cards.

14. We've booked, but I would like to add more participants?

After you book, you will receive an email confirmation that has a link that will give you to access your reservation where you can then add participants as long as you don't surpass the number allowed, so bring your procrastinating and last minute friends. You can also contact us and we can add them to your booking. If they are very last minute, they can pay when you arrive, as long as you don't surpass the participant number. They can pay using cash or card, but the cost is an additional $10 per person at the door, so we encourage adding your addtional guests before your arrival when possible.

15. Do I need to make an appointment?

Yes, but if you don't see a day/time that works for your group, give us a call, we may be able to accommodate a different day/time. We encourage planning ahead, but you may book up to 3 hours before a booking time, as long as the time is still available. Spooky Season and Winter Holiday Season (October thru December) get very busy and weekends fill quickly, so we highly recommend you book as much in advance as possible.

16. Are the tickets refundable?

Customers can receive a full refund or reschedule their booking to a later date with at least 24 hours notice prior to the reservation time. There is no refund and the full price will be charged for no-shows, and for customers who cancel with less than 24 hours prior to the reservation time. A full refund or credit will be given to customers in case of operator cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances.

17. Can I transfer the booking to a friend?

Yes, but please have your friend bring the confirmation email, or contact us with your friend's name.

18. Do you sell gift vouchers?

Yes, you can find them under the "Gift Voucher" button on the header, and they can be used towards the Spellcraft experience or workshops. We think a gift voucher is the perfect gift! Why give more stuff? When you can give an experience!

19. What if I have physical disabilities or challenges?

Our facility is all ground level single story, and it is our goal to be as accessible as possible. Please call, so that we can make any additional accomodations wherever possible.
